Solution Aversion
When people don’t like the solution, they deny the problem. Problems such as climate change and animal cruelty are a typical example. Climate change cannot be solved without global cooperation, thus nationalists deny climate change. Individuals might deny climate change because they don’t want to bother recycling. Animal cruelty cannot be solved without stopping meat consumption, so people deny the problem for their own pleasure.
